Author: Ivan Blazhev Inspired by the journalist articles, which usually comment the substandard conditions of life in the dormitory Stiv Naumov, the author Ivan Blazhev has started his explorations in the dormitory, trying to discover whether the conditions are really that bad, and if so, how is it possible to live in those conditions. By portraying the students and their personal stories, as well as the conditions under which they live, the author enters under the surface and develops a story for the ability of the human spirit to adjust and endure, as well as the need for a place to call home. Authors: Robert Jankuloski, Elizabeta Koneska The project SHARED SHRINES is a result of several months collaboration between Elizabeta Koneska, ethnologist, and Robert Jankuloski, photographer. The interest of exploring shrines, used by members of different religious and ethnical groups, originates from the practice that has been existing in Macedonia for years. The long-lasting tradition of sharing same shrines on the soil of Macedonia actually refutes the superficial belief in the exclusive nature of the ethnical identities and the irreconcilable division of different religious communities (Bowman 2009). Through the photographic narration the authors picture and confirm the inter-ethnical and inter-religious mutual life, created on this land for centuries. ....................................................................................................................... Author: Dragi Nedelchevski The project LIFE IN A BOX is a photo essay about Mane Nedelchevski, a child with cerebral paralysis. The author of this project is his father Dragi Nedelchevski, who produces photographical extracts from the everyday life of Mane. The author does not conceive the photographic narrative on the principle of compiling characters and events, but as a continuous registering of the moments from the daily life: motion, repose, sadness, pain, happiness, play and many others. Ivan Blazhev

Ivan Blazhev (born in 1974) has graduated from Brooklyn College in New York, USA, at the Department of
Film Production.
He has held many solo exhibitions in the country and abroad.
An integral part of his activities are the lectures and workshops on photography aimed for the young photographers.
He has published the following books: Sparks: Initiatives for a safe school and Macedonia Dreaming.

Robert Jankuloski

Robert Jankuloski (born 1969 in Prilep) is a photographer and director of the Macedonian Centre for Photography.
In 1996 he graduated at Faculty for Dramatic Arts in Skopje (Camera Department).
He is the founder of the Macedonian Centre for Photography. He teaches photography at several programmes in Macedonia. He has held 18 solo exhibitions in Macedonia, Bulgaria, Austria, Serbia.
Jankuloski participated at numerous group exhibitions including:
- Manifesta 1 – European Biennale of Contemporary Art in Luxembourg, 1996;
- Context Europe (Impulse from Balkan) in Lyon, 2003.
He has received many awards for photography.
He worked as still photographer and director of photography on several feature and documentary films.
